Master craftsman Walter Eckold invented one man riveting tools, the metal shrinking technology and he designed jigs and fixtures. Based on this know-how he later developed the first shrinking and stretching machines. Continuously updated over the years this technology is still used with highest efficiency by our customers, taking advantage of 70 years of Eckold know-how in cold metal forming.
Likewise revolutionary was the clinching technology for cold connection of metal parts, introduced to the market by Eckold in the 1980s.
