The portable clinching pliers MZD 60/6 are hand-guided machines in pliers design. The special features of the pliers type is the large throat and the high pressure force. That makes the pliers usable on all clinching variants universally. Changeable tool holders allow universal changing of the utilization. The pliers are designed for mobile application and equipped with a single-acting hydraulic cylinder with max. pressure force of 60 or 80 kN and with a 6 m long high-pressure hydraulic hose, but without clinching tools (punch and die). The clinching tools are to be selected according to the joining task. The characteristics of the different pliers are adapted to different fields of application. The clinching pliers are e.g. perfectly suitable for the production of connection elements on air-duct cross sections in the heating, ventilating and air-conditioning construction. Especially 3-layered connections can be set with the clinching type S-DF a combined material thickness of up to 4 mm. The clinching pliers will be driven by single-acting hydrauilic drive units like HAT 525 or HA 510.
