ECKOLD Kraftformer machines are used for shrinking and stretching when forming aluminium or steel rib profiles for boats and yachts. When building ocean going vessels Kraftformers are being used for forming or correcting internal components or for parts of the superstructure. Parts which have been distorted by welding can be corrected and readjusted by shrinking and stretching with the ECKOLD Kraftformer.

 

Shrinking and stretching tools are often used together with doming tools when forming sheets for the hull planking of the bow or stern sections. Three dimensional forming is required on these parts.
