In the Swiss village Elgg had been renovated the public Assembly hall in 2009. The metal cladding and construction company Schnyder AG had to design and fabricate these lamps. The initial material was a material of 1.5 mm Aluman which had to deep draw in a first step. The use of ECKOLD forming products simplified the manual forming process very much.

Machines as follows were in use for the production of these lamps:

• Planishing hammer  GL 2 with plastic inserts for the stretching process
• MultiFormer MF 800 for the finishing
• Handformer  to work the edges (shrinking)
